After graduating from Cambridge, Haldane worked as a research assistant at the University of London. In 1919, he was appointed to the Chair of Genetics at the University of Cambridge. Haldane was a gifted teacher and researcher. He made significant contributions to the field of genetics, including the development of the theory of population genetics.

Political Activism

In 1957, Haldane moved to India. He continued to work as a scientist and political activist until his death in 1964.
